Introduction to reading Charts:

  1. What They Show: Stock charts display how a stock's price changes over time.

  2. Types of Charts: There are line charts (showing closing prices), bar charts (showing open, high, low, and close prices), and candlestick charts (providing detailed price info).

  3. Timeframes: Charts can show daily, weekly, or monthly prices, or even shorter periods like every 5 or 15 minutes.

  4. Price Trends: Look for patterns like prices going up (uptrend), down (downtrend), or staying about the same (sideways trend).

  5. Support and Resistance: These are levels where the price tends to stop going up (resistance) or down (support).

  6. Volume: Shows how many shares were traded, indicating the strength of price movements.

  7. Indicators: Some charts have indicators like moving averages or RSI, helping to understand trends and potential buy/sell signals.

The whole point of learning how to read charts is to make more informed decisions on which stocks to buy and sell depending on many factors, that doesn't mean don't take risks, it simply means don't be random.
